Go Fourth
Arsenal are currently battling Man City in a game they need to win in their quest to steal 4th place (and the final Champions League bearth) away from Spurs this weekend. A draw will still leave them with a chance, but a sin will put them within 1 point of their North London rivals, meaning that they can still afford Spurs to draw with West Ham, so long as they beat Wigan. A draw for the Gunners would mean that they would need Spurs to lose their game and win at Wigan. The other option is that a win today and a loss by Spurs on Sunday would mean Arsenal would still go through on GD if they only draw.
In any case as things stand right now the Londoners are 3-1 up and five minutes from time.
Sunderland are leaving it too little, too late as they are currently 2-1 ahead against Fulham (including one goal by our own Anthony LeTallac). Not in the sense that they could have staved off relegation (that was decided long ago) but that they could have hoped to have a chance of not being remembered as the team with the fewest ever points earned in the Premiership - a record they held two seasons ago and one they will break by at least one point come the end of the season!
